Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Do rooms have to be booked through the travel concierge?
    Yes. In order to attend the event, you must book your room directly through our travel concierge.
  • Is this event refundable?
    This event is non-refundable.
  • With every ticket can you bring a guest for free?
    Yes, with each ticket type you're able to bring a guest for free.
  • If I don't bring a guest, will my ticket be half off?"
    You tried it.
  • If I purchase a ticket now, can I upgrade it later?"
    Yes, if tickets are still available, you will be able to upgrade your ticket.
  • Do I need a passport to travel to Mexico?
    Yes, you need a passport. We recommend that your passport have an expiration date 6 months from the event date. If you do not have a passport, we recommend that you expedite your passport. The process has been severely delayed due to COVID-19.
  • Can I bring my children?
    Yes. Childcare services are available at the resort.
  • Can my children attend the sessions?
    Children 0 to 15 cannot attend the sessions. However, there are childcare services available. For children ages 16+, an event ticket must be purchased.

  • Are payment plans available?
    Yes. Please inquire with your travel specialist after making your reservation.
  • Is travel included with my event ticket or room costs?
    No, you are responsible for travel costs.
  • What airport do I fly into?
    Cancun
  • Can I downgrade my ticket?
    No
  • Do I need to have the COVID vaccine to travel to Mexico?
    The resort is currently requiring a negative COVID test within 72 hours of arrival at the resort, or proof of being fully vaccinated. (Please note that the requirements may change as we get closer to the event date.
  • Do I need to take a COVID test to return to the U.S.?
    Yes, the U.S. requires you to take a COVID test within 72 hours of your departure flight. The resort provides COVID testing on site. If you test positive, you will be required to quarantine in Mexico for 13 days. If Xcaret doesn’t have the capacity, they will assist with finding another resort where you can quarantine. (Please note that this may change in 2022)
  • Is there insurance that will cover the cost, if I have to quarantine in Mexico?"
    There is different travel insurance available that can assist with covering the cost of your extended stay.
