ABOUT US

Next Up Boss is a FREE youth entrepreneurship program sponsored by The School Days Foundation that equips youth ages 13-17 with the skills and resources needed to Build, Own, Scale, and Succeed  in their own businesses. We are committed to doing this important work particularly in underserved communities and populations with the purpose of revitalizing their economies and equipping youth and their parents with the tools needed to build and manage generational wealth.

WHAT WE TEACH

The Accelerator

is a twelve week (3 month) virtual program that provides a comprehensive foundation for budding youth entrepreneurs. Students will attend interactive virtual workshops, be paired with a mentor, and create their business plan. Upon successful completion of the program, each student will be awarded a certificate of completion.

The Launchpad

lasts for 9 months and provides continual support to teens in the development, maintenance, and growth of their businesses while focusing on personal growth and the cultivation of a positive mindset. During this phase participants will receive assistance with items such as entity creation, website creation, logo design, branding development, and marketing strategy.

Live Business Pitch

Participants in the program for a minimum of 6 months will have an opportunity to “pitch live” for a chance to receive startup funding through selected investors and The Andrew Allen Entrepreneurship Grant which provides funding to take their businesses to the next level.

The Financial Empowerment Academy for Parents

Parents and guardians of program participants will be required to participate in a The Financial Empowerment Academy for Parents designed to complement the wealth of knowledge and resources their youth will be introduced to.
